Hotel Pine Spring Gulmarg

The only thing to keep in mind is that, like most hotels in the area, there's no lift. Still, the Gulmarg market is an easy kilometer walk away, and the gondola is very close. There are also a couple of nice cafés within a five-minute walk. We stayed in May 2026. The hotel is a Kashmir-style wooden bungalow with an old-world feel. Our room was upgraded to a large one with a fantastic mountain view. It was comfortable, and the fittings seemed top notch, possibly for the severe winter cold. The buffet had good variety and very good quality food, with excellent service from the team. I'd definitely recommend it in Gulmarg. The room heating was a real problem for me. The central heater is pre-installed, with no ventilation or temperature control, and it felt too large for our small room. It sucked the oxygen out, leaving the air dry and suffocating, and there didn't seem to be any way around it. They should size heaters to the rooms. The bathroom also has a heater, and hot water was available. The property has all amenities and feels like a four-star hotel. The location and food quality earn four stars. The hotel sits in a breathtaking valley, a winter paradise, and we watched live snowfall from our window. It's about 700 m from gulmarg gandola, in the lane opposite kalahoi green. We went in February, and it took an hour to cover that distance in a chained vehicle. Roads get very slippery in winter, a downside for elderly people.

We only stayed one night at Pine Spring, but had a great time. The hotel upgraded our room, the food was amazing, and the staff were very cordial. Sajjad and Manzoor were a big help.

Tanveer and Faizan were especially helpful and attentive, and their warm hospitality made the stay more comfortable and memorable. The rest of the team were friendly, professional, and ready to help too. Our room was clean, warm, and comfortable after exploring Gulmarg, with the essential amenities and good cleanliness throughout. The food was fresh and tasty, with a good range of choices. Hotel Pine Spring is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush scenery, and the location is breathtaking. It exceeded my expectations. A great option for families or friends looking for comfort, good service, and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended, and I'd love to return.
