Staying among the mountains was beautiful, and the hotel’s location really made the experience. The rooms felt cozy, and everyone on staff was kind and polite. Mr Moin Khan was especially helpful and cooperative with everything. We had a great time here.

The heating in my room worked so well that I had to turn it down, even with below-freezing temperatures outside. I could adjust it to my liking. Staff and management were professional and welcoming, and the hotel is very close to places like the Gulmarg golf course and gondola, which is handy in winter. Food was just okay and quite expensive; I found delicious meals at a fraction of the cost in small places in the main Gulmarg market, including Punjabi Veg restaurant. The price here can be worth it if you book well ahead, but rates may more than double when booking only a few days in advance.

We arrived quite late at night, but the staff still arranged a tasty dinner for us without hesitation. That thoughtful help made us feel looked after. The whole team was friendly, cooperative, and ready to assist with a smile. Hotel Shaw Inn has a beautiful setting and a warm, welcoming feel, and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to visitors to the area.

We spent one night there during the coldest days of the year. The hotel and rooms were both very nice, and I especially liked the room decor. It’s a walk from the gandola station, though the approach road is a little narrow. That’s fine for local drives.
