Fabhotel Imperial Inn

The room itself was dirty and smelled bad, with grimy walls and filthy, foul-smelling cupboards and drawers. The bedding was torn, the mattress, sheets and pillows were poor, and neither the AC nor its remotes worked. I also found a rat in the room. The kitchen was completely unhygienic, and breakfast came on unwashed dishes. One water bottle had its seal open. Even the staff said they wouldn’t have given me a room if I’d booked online through the app. This was about as bad an accommodation experience as I can imagine.

I didn’t even get a shower in before leaving. The room was dirty and smelly, the walls were unclean, the lift and internet didn’t work, and they didn’t provide packaged drinking water. I booked another hotel early in the morning. Staff weren’t responsive, and the customer care representative was completely unhelpful. In the middle of the night, they asked me to move to another hotel because of the internet problem. The worst experience.

The staff were polite and humble, and the location and parking were good. But the mattress was in bad shape, the towels weren’t good, the TV didn’t work, and you have to buy your own water. The rooms are spacious but poorly maintained, and I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. I paid 1,400 rupees; some might get it for 1,300. It’s an okay budget option, but over 1,500 isn’t worth it. The only reason I’d give it three stars is that it costs less than similar hotels in Gurgaon.

The man at reception yelled at us because we had booked through the app and demanded extra money if we wanted a room. They accept bookings through both OYO and Fab hotels. He also refused to give back our ID photocopies, even though he never checked us in. The staff were mean and impolite.
