FabHotel Star Corporate Suite I

I had a week-long stay, and the bed was a major problem. The mattress springs were so broken I could feel them, but they refused both to replace it and to put another mattress on the floor. They'd accept complaints without fixing anything. The room also had broken corners and only half the lights worked. In my experience, online bookings get the worst rooms at @fabhotel. A decent bed and polite service are basic expectations, and I didn't get either. I wouldn't recommend it.

They pushed me to book directly at the hotel and avoid booking online. The room they keep for online bookings wasn't very good. They also insisted I book two days together after I'd booked one day at a time, saying I'd otherwise have to pack up, check out in the morning, and check in again. It felt like they were imposing their preferences on guests for no reason. The staff weren't friendly.

I left after just 10 minutes because the hygiene was terrible, but they still charged me for the full stay. The room was dirty, the linens torn, and the receptionist had no manners. I pointed out the problems and asked for a quilt, but was refused. Charging full price when the room is bad enough that a guest has to leave immediately is unacceptable.

I felt compelled to give one star, though it doesn't deserve even that. It seemed like a residential building converted into a hotel, and the stay was a waste of money. Service and food were both very bad. They charged 50 rupees for one cup of tea, then served warm water with sugar.
