Finding this place is difficult without Google maps, even though it’s barely a kilometer from the main road. The surrounding roads are narrow, and there’s no designated parking, so I had to leave my car some distance away. The rooms were okay for what I paid, 1300 bucks for a deluxe room, but breakfast fell short. They have a kitchen, though there’s no proper cook, and most menu items are brought in from outside. It’s worth the price, but nothing special. The hotel feels like one of the properties springing up as Gurgaon expands haphazardly, with farmland being sold to builders or developed by the owners themselves.
The rooms are spacious and good, and the price is reasonable. Staff were courteous and ready to help with anything we needed, which made the stay even better.
At OYO 19829 Minstar, the manager or caretaker told me the hotel name had changed and said they would move me to another OYO property. They said I could stay there only if I paid cash. I’ve never had this happen at an OYO before. Unbelievable.
The rooms were in terrible shape. I checked two or three on my floor and found the same problems in each: dirty sheets, insects on the bed, and spit marks on the walls. The place was not at all well maintained.
