OYO Flagship HUDA City Centre

Sep 20 visit. The area is good, and the room atmosphere was pleasant, but the hotel is old and the interiors need renovation. The AC was broken and dripping. There’s no parking, so Ola or Uber is probably the best way to get around. The bathroom wasn’t properly clean, and I couldn’t tell whether it had been sanitized. I complained and was moved to another room. You have to ask for towels, water, and tissues. Apart from the receptionist, nobody was wearing a mask. I didn’t eat there because of these issues. I’d only recommend staying as a last resort.

Breakfast and the staff both deserve five stars, and the stay was pleasant overall. Cleanliness was good, though the bathroom could use more attention. A few rooms had weak network reception, and two first-floor rooms had leaking AC units, which brought those parts of the experience down.

The food was tasty and available around the clock, and the rooms looked just like the photos. It’s a lovely property with very polite staff, and a good option for travelers on a budget. I’ve stayed at other OYOs, but this Townhouse was a much better experience.

My first stay here was nice, though I thought the price was a little high for the services. On my second visit, the room was filthy, with dirt everywhere, and some electrical sockets didn’t work. I repeatedly asked for it to be cleaned, but nobody came. The staff and reception were unresponsive, and the food service was poor too: the order arrived without proper cutlery or accompaniments. I asked reception several times, but got no response. Very poor service overall.
