Shama Tourist Resort

The power cuts were awful. We were getting ready for a function with no electricity, and they were very slow to turn on the backup. The room walls had seepage, the sheets were dirty, and basic upkeep was poor. Fans and AC didn’t work properly, many charging points were out of order, and in the bathroom there was no wiper or mat, the toilet seat was dirty, and the taps didn’t work properly. The staff were extremely rude, especially the day shift waiter, who acted as if helping us was a favor. This was a disaster for a family stay, especially in summer. Avoid it as much as possible.

It was a last-minute plan, but it turned into a lovely evening with friends.

Good value for money at this restaurant and bar. There’s plenty of parking, and the staff are cooperative.

The menu is small, but everything we tried was very good. The restaurant and bar are excellent. Manager Mr Wahid and Server Raj Kumar are both real jewels of the place.
