The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi

We stayed at the Westin Gurgaon for a business trip from December 16-21, 2025, and with nearly 1200 lifetime nights at Marriott properties around the world, this was the best Marriott experience I've had. As a Marriott Titanium member, I received a complimentary upgrade to a very nice suite. The hotel's staff were excellent throughout, especially the culinary team. Breakfast could be taken in the executive lounge or the 1st-floor restaurant as a Marriott Elite member. The restaurant had a much wider morning spread, with dishes from several global cuisines. The lounge itself had two levels, a broad range of nightly appetizers, and an open bar. Its selections changed each day, which I appreciated. The restaurant and lounge teams deserve special credit for going out of their way to help my coworker, who has celiac disease and is gluten intolerant. Chefs at both venues proactively accommodated her dietary needs and surprised her each day with different, delicious options she could eat. When they heard we were going to the Taj Mahal, they even packed us a picnic. All of this was complimentary for Marriott Elite guests, and far beyond anything I would expect from a hotel. I'd absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and to coworkers planning trips here. I've also stayed several times at the JW Marriott AeroCity, which was excellent too, but the wonderful staff at the Westin are what set it apart.

The central MG Road, Sector 29 location near IFFCO Chowk makes it easy to get to malls, shops, restaurants, the metro, major city spots, and the airport. There are several places to eat and drink on site, including Italian and Pan-Asian options, all-day buffets, a café, poolside bar, and patisserie. The hotel also has a spa called Heavenly Spa by Westin, an outdoor pool, a well-equipped gym, a 24-hour business center, and tuk-tuk transfers to nearby malls. Rooms are often described as spacious, modern, and clean. They may have good bedding, soundproofing, a rainfall shower or bathtub, tea and coffee maker, and minibar. The experience can be uneven. Some guests report housekeeping or maintenance problems such as damp towels, bathroom odor, bugs, or unpleasant smells. There are also reports of rude or unhelpful staff and poor spa or room service on some stays. Room service can be slow, and lapses in attention to detail may fall short of a five-star expectation. Some people who booked promotional meal deals felt misled, saying the dining areas were crowded, food quality was below par, and staff or management behavior was lacking. Food and drink prices can feel high for what you get, especially for guests watching their budget. It may suit business travelers, couples, or families who want a comfortable full-service five-star stay and appreciate the pool, spa, restaurants, gym, and central location, and are willing to pay a premium for the convenience and comfort.

This was the first hotel my wife and I stayed at while touring India for our honeymoon, and it was a very enjoyable experience. After a 10+ hour flight, the airport pickup went smoothly, and a luxury car option was available. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even offered us a room upgrade. We ordered room service late at night and it arrived promptly. Breakfast in the morning had a huge spread, with American, international, and Indian options. Everything about the stay was done right, and I'd come back for the same experience.

My husband was on his way to Delhi when he realized he'd left his bag behind at the hotel. It had all his medicines and warm clothes, which he urgently needed for the journey, so I was very worried and called right away. Westin listened carefully, understood how serious it was, and offered positive support and immediate help. Kulbir deserves a special mention. He responded kindly and did whatever he could to help, treating this as a human problem instead of just a routine issue. His support made all the difference. That's what real hospitality and humanity look like. Thank you, Westin, and thank you, Kulbir. I'll always remember how helpful and compassionate you were.
