RVK Residency

The room wasn't great, and charging 2k for such a basic one felt absolutely atrocious. There are better options at that price in Guruvayoor. The location is the only good thing about this place.

I booked this for family and friends visiting Guruvayur for a day, but nobody was happy with the experience. I chose it because it was Thiruvonam day and I needed a booking then. Being close to the temple is the only positive. There are other good rooms much closer, and I've decided not to book here again.

We stayed here for 7 days, and the Lodge felt like a safe place. It's near East nada and within walking distance of the temple. Staff were polite and cleaned the room every day while we were there, so we knew our things were safe. I'd recommend staying here.

At check-in we paid Rs 6000 in total, including the Rs 1500 advance and Rs 4500 balance, for 3 AC Rooms at RVK Residency on East Nada. We got rooms on the 4th floor, but the lift was so small it could fit only 4 people. One room was cramped, so my brothers and I took that one while the other room was spacious. The AC remote was missing at first; when we told the cleaning staff, they brought it right away, along with a 1 litre water bottle and a small soap. The staff behaved well, though the room overall was average.
