Hotel Priyodarshani by OYO Rooms

The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the clean, well-maintained pool was a hit with our kids. The hotel is exceptionally kids-friendly. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Arista by Ambition, and Christmas felt especially vibrant. The experience was welcoming and seamless from start to finish. Restaurant Eight was a highlight, with authentic flavors and food that was among the best we’ve had recently. Breakfast was extensive and delicious, a great start to the day. A big thank you to Debashree and the F&B team for attentive hospitality that went above and beyond and made our holiday feel special. For a well-maintained property with top-tier dining, I highly recommend Hotel Arista. We’ll definitely be back.

The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a live counter for parathas and egg dishes plus breads, fruit, and Indian options like poha and upma. I also got to try Keteli Pitha, Assam street food, during breakfast. Having different meat options was a plus. The food is expensive, though. Even two teas cost around ₹750, which felt excessive. The hotel has a swimming pool and gym on the first floor. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and adequately sized for two people. The entrance and ambiance give a premium feel, and the reception staff were polite and efficient, making check-in smooth. We had a very good stay at Arista by Ambition Hotel overall. One inconvenience was the strict no-smoking policy in rooms. Guests have to go to the swimming pool area on the first floor to smoke, which felt tedious for frequent smokers like my friends 😂.

The rooms were comfortable, the facilities were good, and room service was reliable during our wonderful 3-week stay at Arista Grand in August 2025. The staff’s warm hospitality and cooperative nature made us feel at home and they took great care of us. Malay, Waka, and Bristi at the restaurant were especially kind and generous. Priyanki at reception, Dadul from housekeeping, Saidul the bell boy, and Debanjan, the hotel manager, were all very helpful and made the stay more pleasant. I highly recommend it for a comfortable, welcoming family stay.

Service was wonderful, the food quality was excellent, and the ambience lovely. Still, it feels more like a 4 start hotel to me, so I don’t know why they call it 5 stars. A technical glitch means rooms get only one key card, which also controls elevator access to your floor and has to stay in the room to keep the power on. If a couple or group gets separated, someone may need help from the bell boy just to go to reception or other floors and amenities, or to gather in one room. It creates bottlenecks. Security is solid, but having two keys would solve the hassle.
