The menu is ridiculously expensive, and the boys at reception were drunk. Staff behaviour was very bad too. If you book online, expect them to ask for extra money when you arrive. Even an app offer won’t stop the extra charge, so don’t book this place.
The hotel is in a very isolated area, reached by poor roads, and it didn’t feel safe. The pictures on the booking site looked nothing like the place we found. Hygiene was very poor, and one staff member was intoxicated. Staff behaviour wasn’t professional at all. Worst stay ever, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone visiting Guwahati.
The Aloo Paratha was the best of what we ordered, which also included Veg Fried Rice, Chicken Masala, Puri Sabji, chai, and coffee. But the plates and glasses weren’t very clean. The staff were helpful, though they need to pay more attention to the dirty bed sheets and blankets. We booked a room for 1 D/N.
The food was expensive and tasted bad. I ordered biriyani and got fried rice instead. Worst OYO I’ve ever stayed in.
This is a long way from the city, down a bumpy road to an isolated spot. We arrived carrying 6 trekking bags and got a horrifying response from management: staff asked my husband for our marriage certificate. Their approach was beyond shameless. I wouldn’t suggest this as a family friendly hotel. Go somewhere else and get a nice stay for the money you pay.
