Hotel Mahima

I chose this for one night after seeing the Google reviews and paid ₹1800 through Goibibo, though rooms are apparently available for ₹1000. Even at the higher price I wasn't comfortable, so I wonder about guests paying ₹1k. The common-area sofa smelled, and the bedsheets weren't clean. There was no handwash or toiletries, just one tiny soap and one towel for four people. No doormat either, and water from the restroom came into the room. I asked about 20 times before it was brought. You have to ask for everything instead of finding things ready. There was only one staff member for all the rooms, so we had to wait until he was free, though he was a good guy, helped a lot, heated our food, and was humble. The rumali roti was like tissue paper. We ordered 18 tawa paratha combo portions at ₹70 for two parathas, but at billing the manager said the combo applied only to two, and charged ₹40 each for the rest. I paid ₹720 for the parathas, which should cost no more than ₹10 to ₹15 each. Disgusting place. Don't trust the positive reviews, I fell into that trap.
