Hotel Rama Utsav

The room was below average, not clean, and completely different from the pictures on the oyo app. I would never suggest booking here. When I arrived, the hotel staff refused to let me check in, saying oyo had cancelled the booking, even though I'd paid the full amount online and received the confirmation message. I showed them all the details, but they said they'd give me a room only if I paid again at the hotel. I contacted the oyo team, who helped resolve it, but the staff then told them I'd already checked in two hours earlier. They lied and tried to cheat me.

We'd booked 15 days ahead for a small family baby shower. It was a new venue at the time, and the staff were courteous. The helpful woman at reception suggested caterers. We could choose the hotel's own catering or order from another caterer, and we chose the in-house option, which was good. They provided mats, tables, and clean sheets for the function, all in good condition. The room we booked for an out-of-town guest was disappointing, though: it had no direct sunlight or window, and the quilt smelled a bit. Apart from that, it was okay.

I attended a ring ceremony here. The staff were polite, but the service was really slow. The rooms were spacious, though not decorated very nicely, and two of the three rooms had locks that didn't work. There's no laundry service, and the basement hall is small, around 60-80 people.

The AC was just for show and didn't work, and even the fan wasn't working properly. The rooms were poor quality and smelled everywhere. We couldn't open a window at night, which felt risky. They didn't even change the bedsheet. Don't trust what the hotel staff tell you, none of it is there. Staying here means losing your money.
