ECKO Antarman on the Ganges

We had a great view of the Ganges from both the room and the rooftop restaurant. There was safe access for a spiritual bath and pooja in the river. The staff were hospitable and supportive, and Mr. Vivek at the restaurant helped us find suitable food, including pure vegetarian and Jain options.

Naina Nath at reception was kind and thoughtful, and Mohit Shukla helped with our luggage and gave us guidance. The staff were polite, the rooms comfortable, and the location is excellent. The food menu could use some improvement, but I'd still highly recommend the place. Thanks, everyone!

We were upgraded to suite rooms with access to the private ghat, and the location along the Ganga is really good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hospitality was good. The property itself needs some upkeep, though. The locks are very old, the paint is wearing off, and the room looked dated. If the rooms were renovated and better maintained, the place could compete with other nearby luxury properties.

I stayed here on 22 November 2025. Hotel Alaknanda had been my first choice, but it wasn't available. After staying at Antarman, though, I found it even better, with easy access to the ghats, good food, and especially polite, humble service. The girl at reception was very cooperative. I didn't catch her name, but I'd like to thank her.
