Fressotel Shanti Heritage

For under ₹2000, I found the hotel decent value, though it felt closer to 3-star than 4-star to me because several expected amenities and service standards were missing. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, and housekeeping did a great job. Staff were polite, but seemed undertrained and not very professional when handling concerns. The buffet breakfast was disappointing. I found an insect in the coconut chutney, which raised hygiene concerns, though the à la carte food tasted good and was nicely presented. The TV in my room was broken, and staff initially tried to blame me. I was glad I’d taken a photo right after check-in. They also asked me to share the feedback link with them, which felt inappropriate and made me question how authentic some reviews are.

We had a brilliant stay and would come back on our next visit. Our room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, with a lovely city view. The restaurant had delicious food with plenty of options, and the service there was attentive. Staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, always welcoming us with a smile. The location also made it easy to get to local attractions.

We stayed one night, checking in Saturday and leaving Sunday, with my wife and kid. The hotel is on the highway towards Delhi and about a 5-10 minute drive from Har Ki Pauri. Parking was useful, with space for around 4 cars and many bikes in the basement, plus a few cars at ground level. There’s a lift and a restaurant where the food was decent, though the options were limited. Our room was spacious, with AC, a clean bed, and a clean bathroom. Pooja at reception was very helpful with our accommodation, and the staff were helpful too. I’d stay here again on my next visit to Haridwar.

The food was tasty and suited my taste requirements, and the hotel was very clean. The service was exemplary, with courteous staff. They could use a few more people in the dining staff.
