Hotel Raj Deluxe

The room chairs look like they’re from the 90s, and the room quality was terrible. Staff behavior and room service were both zero. Whenever I called for water or a bedsheet change, they refused. The manager was lazy and rude too. They may have been the best in the 90s, but there are lots of cheaper hotels around now with much better service. Look nearby instead.

For the price, the accommodation is decent, though it isn’t very standard and feels like a cheap hotel. The bedsheets and pillow covers look old, as does the bathroom. If there are more than three or four guests, someone has to sleep on the floor, though they do provide a mattress.

The rooms were big, with comfortable beds, and both the location and staff behavior were good. It was a good hotel and a great experience overall. I’d recommend visiting once.

The Ganga ghat is only a five minute walk away, and everything feels within reach. It had a nice, homely feel, with well equipped rooms and free WIFI. Staff were helpful, and they can arrange cars and share itineraries for nearby attractions. The trip and stay were both very nice.
