Hotel Suryodaya

The in-house restaurant is good, and parking is available. The rooms are spacious, with excellent views from the river-facing ones. You can reach the river from the hotel’s ground floor, and Ganga Harathi is just a short walk away. A great hotel in Haridwar, right on the banks of the Ganges.

My Haridwar trip was made miserable by this hotel. The room was unhygienic, the bed was broken, and there were mosquitoes everywhere, including the washroom. There was no service or electricity, and they didn’t even turn on the AC. Then at checkout they asked for extra money. This place was a complete waste of money, and the location isn’t a reason to stay here.

I arrived late in the afternoon and made the mistake of checking in just because of the location. The bed was broken, there were cockroaches in the room, and the washroom was dirty with an unflushed toilet. The receptionist was uncooperative. It was a third-rate hotel, and if Google allowed it, I’d give it black stars or minus ten.

The staff were bad, and they charged extra when I checked out. The room was unhygienic and the bed was broken. Haridwar has plenty of places in good locations, so don’t choose this awful hotel and waste your money. Don’t come here.
