At midnight they switch off the AC, and if you leave after plugging in a phone or power bank, they turn off the main switch to save on electricity. The rooms were filthy, with stained sheets, broken furniture, a foul smell, and mold on the bathroom walls. Towels and toiletries were missing or in terrible shape, and room service was late or never showed up. Staff were rude, unresponsive, and seemed uninterested in helping. It felt like a neglected warehouse, not a place for guests. Don't stay here. The whole experience was a nightmare. They didn't even keep the basic amenities in decent condition. I'd put it this way: "This is a lawra hotel, my home's latrine is better."

You can walk to Har Ki Paudi and Mansa Devi temple from here, and Chandi Mata temple is a couple of kilometres away. The location is convenient, but the stay itself was very bad. Rooms are tiny, probably 10x10 feet, with a small bathroom and no geyser, and there's no outside view. The TV didn't work because they hadn't recharged the cable connection, and room service couldn't fix it. The AC was there but wasn't working for some reason. It felt more like a Dharamshala, except you're paying too much for it. Book only if your visit is urgent and you have no other option. If you've stayed in a hotel before, you probably won't call this one a hotel.
