Udman Hotel Haridwar

The hotel was badly managed from the start. Check-in took far too long, and the staff didn’t seem interested in helping. Our room was below expectations: it wasn’t properly cleaned, the sheets looked used, and there was an unpleasant smell. Basic amenities were missing or not working. The bathroom was worse, with poor hygiene, leaking fittings, and no proper toiletries. Room service was slow, and calls to reception either went unanswered or got a casual response with no urgency. Maintenance throughout the hotel seemed neglected. For what they charged, the facilities and service were unacceptable. I regret choosing this place and wouldn’t recommend it. There are much better options for the same or less. A very disappointing stay, and not worth the money.

We booked a huge, comfortable suite for our family, and the breakfast had lots of tasty, hygienic options. The location is very convenient for Har ki Pauri, and autos can easily take you there. Best of all, there’s parking where you can leave your car. A comfortable base for visiting Haridwar.

The rooms at Udman Hotel are roomy and spotless, with the thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax. I also found the food enjoyable, with plenty of different flavours to choose from. The calm atmosphere and elegant interiors give the place a luxurious feel, and the staff were warm, attentive, and quick to help with a smile. Udman Hotel offers a memorable stay and works well for business or leisure.

Parking is limited, and at 4500rs per night I found the price high for the quality. When I first stayed last year, the newly built rooms were clean. On this visit in Feb 2026, though, the rooms were dirty, especially the linen, blankets, and floors. If you're staying with family, I'd suggest checking other options too.
