Hotel Hampi International

The food was great, with plenty of choices at the in-house restaurant, and there's ample car parking. The hotel is right by Hospet railway station, with public transport nearby. My room was spacious and clean, with a balcony option; the bathroom was clean and well maintained too. The place was much cleaner and better kept than the reviews led me to expect.

The breakfast was the same each day, which got boring during a two or three day stay, and the restaurant had no South Indian menu. The room was clean and large enough for a family, and the location is just outside Hospet railway station. One concern: they unlock and clean rooms with another key without asking for your consent first.

We checked in today and the rooms initially weren't up to the standard I expected, with construction and renovation going on. Luckily, vacant rooms were available, and Vishal and Ismael upgraded us when I asked. I appreciated how quickly they responded. Thank you, Hotel Hampi International, for looking after us. My kids really enjoyed the pool and the facilities overall.

The rooms are spacious, airy, and very good, though cleanliness could use a little more attention. A bathroom tap was leaking, and I spotted a small cockroach. Otherwise, my room was clean. The hotel is very close to the railway station, has wheelchair ramps wherever needed, and offers plenty of parking. The restaurant is beautiful, room service is available, the staff are friendly, and there are venues for both large and small events. Toilets are also available in common areas. I didn't have time to try the gym or swimming pool.
