Hotel Priyadarshini Pride

The two-day cab trip around Hampi was a highlight. Our travel agency, nakshatra tours and travels, was very reliable, helpful, and decent. The owner, mr ganesh, came himself to take us around, and the driver made us feel comfortable and safe while taking us everywhere with enthusiasm. We're two senior citizen ladies traveling alone, and our stay at priyadarshini pride was comfortable and felt safe. Being close to the station was a big plus, and the staff, ambiance, and other facilities were very good. The trip to Hampi was unforgettable.

There are several better hotels directly opposite this one, with lower prices and better service and facilities. Hotel Priyadarshini Pride, Hospet didn't offer good value for money, and I wouldn't recommend it. During our stay, room service was very poor: a simple tea order took nearly an hour. The hotel has no kitchen of its own, so guests have to go outside for the so-called complimentary breakfast, which wasn't clearly explained when booking. That breakfast had few choices, poor taste, and fell short on basic hygiene and quality. The receptionist was arrogant, uncooperative, and seemed indifferent to our concerns. Another serious problem was that nobody was at reception after 10:00 PM. Calls went unanswered, leaving guests without help and making late arrivals, especially families, feel insecure and inconvenienced. Management and professionalism fell short throughout our stay.

The property itself is good, with clean, spacious rooms, but it's managed unprofessionally. The staff are untrained and uncooperative, and the security guard confuses guests and won't let them in even when they have an advance reservation. Reaching reception requires a steep climb, and calls to reservations go unanswered. I wonder why such a good property is run this way.

The property has decent facilities, but the loud music made our Saturday night stay at Hotel Priyadarshini Pride in Hospet extremely uncomfortable. A DJ event started in the evening and carried on well past 10 p.m., disturbing the nearby rooms. We asked the staff several times, but management couldn't control the guests or stop the music. Eventually I had to contact the Hospet Town Police Station, and they intervened to get it stopped. It's disappointing that management couldn't deal with such a basic issue themselves. I hope they take this seriously and keep things peaceful for future guests.
