Chalukya Residency by OYO Rooms

I booked the rooms ahead, but they were filthy when we arrived. The bedspreads were dirty or missing, and there was chewing gum stuck to one bed. Staff took 30 minutes just to begin cleaning. We waited another hour and nothing got better. They offered no real help, so we checked out without staying. Avoid it. Hygiene standards were nonexistent.

The room they first showed us was completely different from the booking photos. The toilet was filthy and its seat cover was broken. The manager showed us another room, but its tiles were broken and the toilet was just as dirty, with no seat cover. At first the property manager said no AC room was available and that I'd have to take a non-AC room. When I said I'd call customer care, he suddenly said there was a room and asked me to check out. I told him I couldn't stay and wanted a refund. He said to leave and contact customer care. I did leave and ask them for a refund, but they refused. Customer service was even worse than the manager and agreed with what he was saying about the rooms and other things. Worst hotel. Don't book based on the photos on the booking sites.

There are no proper plug points or lights, and the complimentary breakfast has a cap. Eat as much as you want, but only Rs 80 is covered, and you pay for anything extra. This old hotel looks like it's on its last legs. The photos on the maps look photoshopped, and the owner seems to be squeezing out the last bit of value with minimal investment.

The room was in awful shape. None of the sockets worked, the bathroom taps were faulty, and the bathroom was dirty. The corridor sofas were dusty and clearly hadn't been cleaned, so even the amenities were poorly kept. The receptionist was extremely rude and had no idea how to speak to customers. His behavior was unacceptable. This place badly lacks basic service, cleanliness, and professionalism.
