Celebrity Boutique Hotel by OYO Rooms

I had a peaceful, lovely stay here, and the pictures give a good idea of the hotel. The manager and room service were both good, with nothing to disappoint me. They don't have a kitchen, but bring food from nearby restaurants, and the quality was awesome.

Security was a big concern for me. If you're away and the keys are with you, reception staff may open your room and leave it unlocked. There were mice and cockroaches in the rooms, and I couldn't sleep at night. My friend wasn't given a room key at all. Whenever she went out, she had to call reception so they could lock the room and keep the keys. The people at reception were arrogant too. Very bad experience.

I stayed for two days. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy, with a large bathroom, and there was car parking. Breakfast was included in the price, but the food wasn't served hot on either day.

I was booked here through a corporate plan and got stuck until the end of the week, even though I tried to change it. My room was big and spacious, but I can't think of another pro. There's no kitchen, so even getting tea means going out, which is very inconvenient. Laundry service isn't available either. The smell I noticed at first stayed through my whole stay, and the shower had no hot water, just a geyser and bucket. I'd avoid the complimentary breakfast. The masala dosa was the worst I've had, and the sambar and chutney had no taste. A street vendor near the main road sells excellent meduvada and idli, but isn't open Sundays. The hotel is on the fourth floor, with the fitbuzz gym above it on the fifth. You can hear the machines in the evening. It's not very loud, but it's still irritating. Free Wi-Fi worked for one night. From the next day, they had a password and wouldn't share it. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
