OYO 20021 SilverKey Banjara Hills

The room was filthy and uncomfortable, with a mattress that left me with backache. Nothing was cleaned, the AC and geyser didn't work, and there was just one yellow light. We had no drinking water, and when the power went out we were left in the dark for hours. The door lock was broken too. Staff ignored our complaints. We also had trouble checking in. They refused at first and demanded extra money, so I had to spend an hour talking to customer care. I didn't like the location, service, or atmosphere. Staying there felt like a nightmare, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Be careful with this hotel.

We were left stranded after the hotel refused to honor the price confirmed in the OYO app and demanded double for the rooms. OYO's customer service couldn't sort it out either. At reception, two staff members seemed unresponsive and didn't handle the booking. I asked in person for over 15 minutes, but got no positive response. White House Hotel eventually let us stay only after we paid twice the booking amount. OYO support failed to address our concerns throughout.

The property is in a residential area, so the market is about a 500-meter walk away, and there's no hotel restaurant. Still, we had a nice stay. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned, and much bigger than we expected, including the bathrooms. They also gave us complimentary breakfast, although it wasn't listed on the booking receipt. Thank you.

After three hours they told me to check out or pay another 1200, even though I'd booked the whole day. They claimed the booking was only for a 2-3 hour stay. The extra amounts they demanded both times were on top of what I'd already paid when booking. I had to struggle with Oyo customer care and speak to the property manager. When I said I'd call the police, they finally let me stay. At check-in they'd already refused me and asked for about 800 more. Customer care got them to allow me in, but nobody showed me the room, and they didn't provide a towel, soap, or water bottle. The room was somewhat manageable, but the washroom was a disaster. The manager and staff were rude and had no basic hospitality manners. Pathetic hotel and service.
