OYO 71244 Hotel Saba Service Apartments

I was traveling alone and had already paid for a booking through booking.com, but they wouldn’t give me a room when I arrived. The hotel manager was away, and another manager told me the place was closed, even though I could see a few guests there asking about breakfast. A horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The welcome and check-in were completely unpleasant. The receptionist kept crossing the line when speaking and acted over-smart. He needs training on how to speak professionally in his role. Even with decent ambience, the hospitality and customer support were so unprofessional that it wasn’t worth the money. One of the worst choices, don’t even keep this so-called hotel as a last option.

For the amount charged, the service was paltry. They promised breakfast but didn’t provide it, and the toilets were cramped with no standard toiletries such as soap, shampoo, or towels. There was a live baby rat in the room they assigned me. When I told the front desk, they promptly moved me to another room, which is why I’ve given two stars. Without that quick response, it would’ve been just one.

I stayed for more than a week in August 2022, and the experience was good overall. Compared with other Oyo bookings I’ve had in Hyderabad, they didn’t refuse my check-in because the tariff was low. I booked on Oyo and got a deluxe room at a lower budget. The location was a bit far inside, which I didn’t like. It’s about 1.3km from Hyderabad Deccan railway station and Nampally metro station. The hospitality otherwise was better than I expected, so Hotel Saba service apartment is one of the better Oyo bookings you can make in Hyderabad, whether you book online through Oyo or another site.
