OYO 80454 Grand Aarvi Suites

I paid the full amount through Goibibo, but when I arrived they refused to check me in, saying the rooms were full. They told me to contact Goibibo for a refund. Goibibo called the hotel, and the staff then claimed I had arrived at 9am, even though I booked from 11am and got there at 11.10am. They called that early check-in. The staff were rude and lied about when I arrived. Don't book this third-class hotel.

My room was small and full of mosquitos, and although it had an a/c, they didn't give me its remote. The universal remote they eventually handed over didn't work. The hotel is away from the main road, so there aren't many food options nearby. I stayed one night, and it wasn't a pleasant experience. The place itself isn't that great.

I paid twice and still haven't received a refund from Oyo. Oyo customer care didn't resolve it, and when I tried again, they kept disconnecting the call after hearing what happened. I gave up after an hour. I had booked and fully paid for Aarvi suites near Nexus mall on Oyo a week ahead. When we arrived at 1.45 AM, the manager refused to give us rooms because the Oyo price I'd paid was too low, and told me to cancel. He said I should have called ahead to reconfirm so he could have advised me to cancel earlier, even though I'd already paid Oyo. I don't know why he didn't contact me or cancel the booking himself. With no other option at 2:00 AM, I paid again. Both the hotel and Oyo gave disappointing service.

Getting to the lift means walking through a basement flooded with garbage, then going up to the 3rd floor to find reception. The rooms are just okay. Online booking works sometimes, and they may charge extra for early check-in. I had a very bad experience with OYO, so talk to the hotel directly instead of its online support.
