There was no wash basin for washing my face, and the washroom itself wasn't good. Mosquitoes filled the room.

I booked through OYO, but the hotel staff wouldn't let me check in. I lost my 1000/- and didn't get it back. Poor service from both OYO and the hotel management.

My friend arrived at 9:30am to check in, and the manager wanted Rs. 500 for an early check-in. We explained that we'd come for an interview and asked him to let us in. He could have given us a room at 9:30 or 10:00am, but instead told us to come back at 12:00pm. At 1:00pm, he said the room we'd booked was full because we hadn't come at noon, and that he'd given it to someone else. He wanted extra money for another room, claiming only six rooms were available at the rate we'd paid. This was a horrible experience. He also refused to honor the discount shown on OYO's website, saying, “We never give rooms below the rate of Rs. 1250 for small standard room,” and that an online discount didn't mean he had to offer that price. Why accept OYO bookings if he won't honor the rate? It felt like customers were drawn in with a lower price and then asked for more at check-in. He said they pay OYO 40% and asked what they'd have left if they rented rooms for Rs. 800, while OYO adds even more discount. That's not the customer's concern. The managers harassed us at the hotel. I called him a criminal and a cheat. I also used to appreciate OYO as a regular customer, since I travel frequently for work, but its service has gotten worse lately. Every OYO partner hotel seems to have this kind of issue in every state. I don't know whether to blame OYO or the hotel managers, but I don't recommend booking through OYO anymore.

The room was tiny, smelled bad, and had cockroaches that I kept having to run after and kill. I used my deodorant to try to clear the smell. The sheets and pillow covers were dirty and hadn't been changed, with marks of oil or sperm on the sheets. It was a sad, nightmare of a stay. Even -1 would be a better rating. The room cost 1200rs, and the old, attractive photos shouldn't be used to cheat customers into booking this unhygienic place. I checked out quietly because arguing seemed pointless. OYO doesn't seem to care about customer service these days, and I won't book a room through them again.
