Nature's Lap Homestay

The owner was really nice and helpful, and you can order food here. There's hot water, a fan, and a kitchen with a kettle. Nothing fancy, just a very good, quiet place to stay!

Waking up to foggy mornings and mountain views from the window was a daily delight at Nature’s Lap Homestay in Igatpuri. The rooms were clean and well maintained, with a good balance of modern comfort, and the homestay is surrounded by natural beauty. The setting felt like a peaceful retreat, with greenery, hills, and valley views that helped us get away from city chaos. We enjoyed the cool breeze and birdsong on walks, and the Sahyadri mountains over morning tea. Bhavali Dam, Ghatandevi Temple, and Camel Valley are nearby for sightseeing. The hosts welcomed us warmly and were genuinely polite, which helped make our stay comfortable and memorable.

We had homemade food during our stay, and it was tasty, healthy, and made with very little oil. She even adjusted the masala to make it non-spicy for us. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious, with reliable Wifi and a mountain view. They were reasonably priced, and we had no trouble at all. The owner lives on the ground floor and was helpful, even calling an auto rickshaw when we needed one. They also had a 2 wheeler available for rent when we visited. It was a great stay, and I’d choose this place again on a future visit.

The food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, was delicious, and the friendly staff were always ready to help with any request. We found the hospitality, kindness, cleanliness, and service as expected. It felt like a homely stay, with plenty of ventilation and sunlight, and the location was good for scenic views and a short city break. We couldn't extend our two days because we hadn't booked ahead. It was a memorable stay, and I'll visit again.
