Kyriad Prestige Ilkal by OTHPL

Mr. Raj Reddy, the Food & Beverage Manager, made us feel welcome. He was friendly, professional, and helpful, and personally checked that everything was taken care of. The food was excellent, the staff were courteous, and the hospitality and attention to detail stood out. We had a very comfortable stay at Kyriad Hotel, with service that exceeded our expectations. We’d gladly visit again and recommend it.

The food was tasty, but the slow service spoiled the mood. The restaurant seemed short staffed, and when all rooms are booked, they can’t handle customers promptly. The rooms are spacious, though they need pest control. Service is good, just delayed, and basic things like towels, a foot mat, and water bottles were put in my room only after I asked. The hotel is right by the highway and has plenty of parking, plus a bar and restaurant.

We only got the extra beds after escalating the issue and speaking with the hotel manager. Before we booked and paid for four rooms for eight adults and four children, the receptionist had agreed to provide beds for the children. But when we arrived, the same receptionist refused to honor that agreement. This all happened at midnight, with three children aged 11-13 and one aged 6. The receptionist was rude, rigid, and unwilling to listen, turning check-in into a stressful argument when we expected basic cooperation. Guests shouldn’t have to fight at that hour for something agreed before payment. The way we were treated at Kyriad Prestige, Ilkal was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. There was poor coordination and bad customer handling. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. If you decide to stay, get every commitment in writing before paying, since verbal assurances may later be denied. For a place calling itself “Prestige,” the service and guest handling fell far short.

We were on a long road trip across southern India, my dad and I, and the hotel was in a really convenient spot right on the highway. The rooms were clean and classy, and dinner was delicious. Before our early departure, staff promised sandwiches and cut fruit since we couldn’t make use of the free breakfast. We left 30 minutes later than planned, but there was no packed breakfast. It seems the promise hadn’t been passed on, or the morning staff missed the message.
