Alila Fort Bishangarh

The only awkward moments came from two other guests acting entitled, including one who yelled at staff over lunch. That wasn't the staff's fault, and it was easy enough to ignore, especially since the property was quiet during our visit. We were there for just one night, but had plenty to do. My husband and I wandered the grounds, tried kite flying, cricket, and badminton, and would have used the lovely pool if it had been warmer. The food selection and high tea were great, and dinner upstairs was a lovely traditional experience, though we ate far too much. Since it was chilly, staff brought a small fire pit and turned on the patio heaters so we could enjoy the meal and live performance. Our room at the very well-kept fort was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had a great view. The historic character has been maintained while the place has been updated. Service was thoughtful all around. Abhay, our check-in concierge, sent extra details on WhatsApp even on his day off, arranged a honeymoon cake, and offered to prepare a complimentary bubble bath. This was one of our best five-star stays and well worth the trip out. Alila Fort is worth a detour, even if you're not nearby.

We're still here and haven't checked out, but the care from the staff has already made such an impression that I wanted to write this now. At check-in, the team surprised us with an upgrade for my birthday, and every interaction since, from activities to dinner, has felt warm and sincere. Sonali and Prabhjyot helped make the day memorable. Sonali went well beyond what we asked: when we requested a few bar snacks, she insisted on bringing almost a full meal, simply because she wanted to be kind. It felt like real hospitality, not a routine gesture. The restored property is beautifully maintained and gives you a sense of Rajasthan's heritage all around. The high tea is unmatched for us, in India or anywhere else. We've stayed at some of the finest Oberoi, Taj, and Marriott properties, yet this experience has topped them. Every staff member makes you feel welcome and special. We'll return with our family as well as come back as a couple, so they can experience this kind of Indian hospitality too.

We went with my wife and our two children, one five years old and one a newborn, and the staff made the stay very comfortable. The facilities were easy to use, and the food was well above what we expected. I can't recall everyone's name, but I remember reservation manager Tarang, F&B manager Abhishek, chef Shivraj, and several others. It was a memorable trip that I'd recommend. The rooms could use some maintenance, though.

The team at the property made this our best Hyatt stay for hospitality. We came from Hyatt Regency Jaipur, whose staff let them know we were arriving, and the hotel upgraded us after hearing about the occasion for our trip. The views and food were both great, but the people stood out most. Deb (Deb Kumari) was a proactive host and made sure we could try the available experiences. Khovezoh stayed with us and helped with everything at dinner. Avishek, the restaurant manager, suggested lovely dishes, while Narendra arranged the tasting order and Rahul made our seating comfortable. Anisha packed extra food for our train journey after learning about our allergies. Chefs Hemant and Lokendra made amazing food, and Gaurav suggested good choices and checked that we were comfortable. Md. Abid showed us the garden and organic farm, explaining the local trees and rocks. Kartik and Devendra Singh arranged the upgrade for our occasion, and thanks as well to Mr. Singh and the buggy team.
