The TV was just a dummy, and the AC was damaged and wouldn’t work. This was already my second room, after the first one had cockroaches. The bedsheet was covered in stains, and the walls were damp and musty. The room quality was awful. I wouldn’t recommend booking here, and I’d avoid this hotel.
Getting tea or food took hours, and hot water was a constant struggle because there was no geyser in the room. The towels smelled foul, the bedsheets clearly hadn’t been washed, and the washrooms were gross. There wasn’t even soap or handwash. Staff said it had run out, which is unacceptable for a hotel. Hygiene and maintenance were basically nonexistent. This place is a health hazard, highly not recommended.
Staying here was completely uncomfortable. The room felt dirty throughout, and there was a strong, unpleasant smell. Honestly, even a basic lodge would be a much better choice.
The rooms at Hotel Royal Empire are spacious and well kept, and the staff were helpful and polite. Check-in went smoothly. I found it a convenient base in Jaipur, with nearby areas easy to reach, and it seems suitable for a short visit or a longer stay. WiFi, room service, and an in-house restaurant are available. Good value for money if you want a hassle-free stay.
I was out within an hour. There was no window for ventilation in either the room or bathroom, and the damp smell made it unpleasant to stay. I asked to switch rooms, but apparently they didn’t have another one. Such an uncomfortable stay. Seems like an OYO hotel.
