Hotel Jaipur Ashok is about 1 km from the Railway Station and 550 m from Sindhi camp. It has two or three gates, though only the main one stays open around the clock. There are no balconies in the rooms apart from the heritage suite. This isn't an OYO property; it's a Rajasthan Tourism hotel, and bookings have to be made through its website. Room rates were Rs 2500 for a Standard Deluxe room and Rs 1500 for an Economy room. A free breakfast, usually a buffet, comes with bookings through the website, but only for the nights of your stay. You can also get buffet dinner for Rs 350/pax. The restaurant will bring hot water, tea (Rs 50), or coffee (Rs 80) to your room, but won't deliver food, so you have to eat in the restaurant. Small parties can be held there too. There's a good cafe, though it's often closed since tea and coffee are served at the restaurant. The hotel has large rooms, good views, and nice areas to walk around in the evening, both inside and nearby. Bathroom supplies include a small glycerine soap, body gel, shampoo, and conditioner. There's also a table outside each room for used crockery. A few things to know: my TV hadn't been recharged, but they recharged it when I reported it. Hot water comes from a central system, not a geyser in each room, so at odd hours you have to call and ask them to start it, then wait 10 minutes. The room refrigerator didn't work at all, even after an electrician checked it. There's only one lift, and getting to it can mean a long walk from your room.

The central location near the High Court was the only good part of my stay at Hotel Jaipur Ashok. The conditions inside were awful, and I wouldn't recommend booking here. The washroom and toilet were extremely dirty and unhygienic, with poor cleaning and maintenance. Dust and mess were also obvious in the reception area, which made the whole property feel neglected. The rest of the place seemed dusty too, and the low housekeeping standards made the stay uncomfortable and concerning for hygiene.

The breakfast was great, but the bathroom doors wouldn't shut and the management seemed erratic. Room service was awful. We had to call several times just to get soap and beds, and the sheets were dirty. The hotel is centrally located, but they haven't made good use of that.

I was really disappointed with Hotel Jaipur Ashoka RSHCL. The toilets in the room were dirty, there were no door knobs, the lights didn't work, the walls were stained, and the bathroom drain was clogged. There was no hygiene or maintenance at all. I had booked two nights and three days, and left the keys at reception so the room could be cleaned and the problems fixed. None of it got done. They eventually said they'd take care of it, but that was already our checkout date. I don't know how many people are being misled by this kind of service. Aesthetic appeal isn't enough. Please provide better service.
