Janardan Homestay Abhiraj Jaipur

They ruined my Valentine’s Day. I booked through Agoda for February 14th for my wife and me, and I’m writing while still at the hotel. The photos make it look like a four-star place, but it felt more like a two-star hotel and didn’t provide basic facilities for couples. I had selected a room with one large bed, but we got two small beds with separate mattresses that kept moving apart. Even after asking reception, nothing changed. I’d also requested honeymoon decorations, but none were provided. I asked to arrive early, around 5:00-6:00 A.M., and did arrive then. The receptionist wanted an extra ₹1500, which I agreed to pay, but said a large-bed room wasn’t available and told me to return at the normal 14:00 check-in time. I asked again about the arrangements and was told they were done. After checking in, there was nothing. I called room service and asked at least for a room with one large bed, but so far nothing has been done.

Check-in and check-out were easy, and the hotel’s central position made it convenient for exploring Jaipur and getting to meetings. I had a very pleasant stay at Vesta International Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and maintained well, with the amenities needed for comfort. Staff were courteous and responsive whenever help was needed. The food was good, with a decent range of choices. A comfortable option for business or leisure, and I’d consider staying again.

The staff were great and welcoming, but the facilities are poor and really outdated. Some room sockets didn’t work, hot water wasn’t available for an hour after check-in, and the plumbing was dirty. There were flies around the shower too. In my opinion, a newer, cleaner, well-rated two- or three-star hotel would be better. I’d recommend staying somewhere else.

Chitransh and Sandhya on the reception team treated me exceptionally well, and Pooja was especially friendly and made the stay more interesting. They were professional and made check-in and the rest of the visit hassle-free. The staff’s warmth was clear from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. Great service and ambiance. I’d recommend the hotel for a pleasant, relaxing stay and look forward to coming back.
