Sneh Deep Guest House

We booked sneh deep guest house three weeks ahead for our December 2025 stay and paid in full. The day before, we called to confirm and learned they'd forgotten the booking. Luckily we had the WhatsApp chats as proof, and managed to get the reservation back. We'd been telling them since 10 am that we'd arrive, but when we got there at 4 pm, the rooms were still untidy and dirty, the whole property was a mess, and the sheets looked like someone else had just used them. The bathrooms didn't work. They fixed the jet spray that evening, and only changed the sheets and made the other arrangements after we argued and negotiated on arrival, things that should have been ready before guests got there. Whenever we asked for something, they said the wife was unwell and the owner had sugar and BP issues. Their son told us, “this is not a five star property.” We weren't expecting a pool, free wifi, a playground, or a gym. We just wanted clean sheets and rooms, working toilets, and a decent atmosphere. Even the basics took a fight, which was really sad. I hope they improve their service to a decent standard in future.

What made our stay at Sneh Deep Guest House in Jaipur special was how welcome the host made us feel from the moment we arrived. We also enjoyed the home-cooked meals, which were delicious and filling. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the guest house was well placed for visiting Jaipur's main attractions. It was a great experience, and I'd highly recommend it.

After four months of travel, my partner and I finally found somewhere that felt like home at this family-run guesthouse. It's close to the city center but tucked into a quiet neighborhood, a welcome break from busy Jaipur. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the house was kept up with obvious care. Beautiful antiques and a warm atmosphere gave the place a lot of character. Smita and Manoj made our stay especially meaningful. They're a charming, cultured couple who shared thoughtful conversations and a deep understanding of India and its culture. Manoj kindly took us around Jaipur, explaining things patiently as we went. They checked on us each day, always had a kind word, and made time for cultural exchanges we really valued. Their kindness and willingness to help made us feel safe and understood in such a diverse country. Smita, a nutritionist and former teacher, prepared delicious food that was both healthy and full of flavor. They also offer cooking classes, yoga sessions, and other activities. The staff were attentive and kind, and the whole house felt warm and cared for. We're grateful we got to meet this wonderful family and stay in their beautiful home.
