My stay was a major disappointment, and the problems started at check-in. The front desk staff seemed uninterested and unwelcoming, with very little basic hospitality. I also asked the restaurant to make tea with oat milk I brought because of my dairy allergy, but they refused and didn’t try to accommodate me. The rooms and washroom were in poor condition. In the first room there was no fan, even though it was summer, and the AC didn’t work. After I pushed, I was moved to a second room. It had a fan, but it was extremely dirty and the hygiene was still bad. Following more complaints, I was moved again. The third room’s AC had no cooling, apparently because it had no gas, the wash basin was clogged, and cleanliness remained poor. The toilet seat was dirty, the basin stayed blocked, I had to call a plumber several times a day, and the jet spray only trickled. I booked through Agoda with a no-cancellation policy, so I couldn’t get a refund. The stay was ruined, and my money felt wasted. I chose the hotel because of positive online reviews, but afterward I felt some of them might be misleading or incentivized with discounts. I later stayed at Dev Mahal in Bani Park for a similar price, and found clean rooms, a pleasant ambience, cooperative staff, and excellent service. That felt like hospitality should. I won’t return or recommend this hotel. Please don’t mislead customers, and improve your standards. If you really care and have some humanity, refund me. If not, stop sending these messages, since you’ve successfully trapped another customer.

The rooftop was a lovely place to unwind with live music, and the singer was amazing. We had a great time there. The first-floor restaurant also had good staff and very prompt service. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were professional with excellent housekeeping. The food was good, though it could be better.

Rajveer Singh was the standout part of my stay at Souvenir Peppermint Hotel. He was welcoming, courteous, and attentive throughout, always ready to help with a genuine smile. He made sure the details were taken care of and went out of his way to make me comfortable. I’m grateful for his care, and I’d recommend the hotel because of the service he provided.

I’ve stayed here regularly, so this visit was especially frustrating. I asked specifically for a king-size bed with one proper mattress. The first room had two mattresses pushed together, and the alternative I was shown had the same setup. A housekeeping staff member later showed me a room with the bed I wanted, but Aashis from the front office told me to leave, saying it was already booked. That didn’t seem to be the case. The dismissive handling and poor coordination aren’t what I expect as a loyal guest. The food was also far below standard this time. I hope management takes this seriously. I’ve preferred staying here, but this makes me reconsider. Better staff coordination and attention to guest needs would help the hotel keep its standards.

The food tasted very good, and my stay was good overall. The reception and restaurant teams could be more welcoming and courteous. The washroom needs renovation, and the basin tap runs so strongly that it wastes water. The TV in the room is small.
