The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful, and even put together a two-day Jaipur itinerary for me. As a first-time solo trip planner, finding Blue Beds took a lot of the worry out of choosing where to stay. The dorms are well maintained, with comfortable beds, clean washrooms, and secure lockers. There are private rooms too, and customer service, food facilities, and hygiene were all very good for a reasonable price. I’d recommend Blue Beds for solo travelers, friends, or families looking for a comfortable budget stay.

Blue beds Hostel was a solid budget choice. The dorms were clean and looked after, and the AC worked perfectly, which was a big relief in the heat. The friendly staff were always ready to help and gave the place a welcoming feel. I had a really great, comfortable stay.

We paid ₹2319, then found a much better hotel for ₹1400. It took four days to process our refund, which was frustrating. They claim a 3-star rating on Google, but the reality was nowhere near that. Even a basic 3-star hotel washroom is better than this setup, and I strongly suspect the ratings are manipulated. Please avoid this place, it was a waste of money, time, and peace of mind. We were asked to use a common washroom despite paying the full amount, so there was no basic privacy. Parking wasn’t proper, and the electricity was unreliable. This didn’t feel like a real hotel, just a small house operating with 3-4 rooms. Service was extremely poor, and the staff were unhelpful and unprofessional.

A warm, welcoming vibe, a great location, and friendly, helpful staff made this a fun, comfortable stay. The rooms were clean too. I’d recommend Blue Beds Jaipur to anyone visiting.

The dorms were beautiful, nicer than many I’ve seen around the world and honestly better than the penthouse I booked. I’d stay in the dorms if I returned. Sushil was the real highlight: one of the kindest, most genuine people I met in Jaipur. He looked out for my safety and wellbeing as a solo female traveler, stayed respectful and helpful, and never made me uncomfortable or tried to take advantage. He checked in like a big brother. Jaipur had more tourist hustle than Mumbai, Agra, or Goa for me, and Sushil was the complete opposite. The hotel is lucky to have him, and he’s a big reason my rating isn’t lower. I recommend the hotel with some conditions. Choose the dorms, and avoid booking tours or drivers through the hotel. I paid 3,500 rupees per day for two days for a private car, after being told the driver spoke English. I later heard from several people that the usual rate should be closer to 1,000 rupees a day. I didn’t complain then, thinking perhaps the extra cost covered safety and smooth coordination. But the driver spoke no English at all, so after ten minutes I had to turn back because I couldn’t give even basic instructions. The hotel sent a bilingual staff member, which I appreciated, but sightseeing still wasn’t smooth. When I asked to visit the local market for a saree and souvenirs, I was taken an hour out of town to a manufacturer with heavily marked-up prices. I later learned drivers take travelers there for commission. I bought nothing and lost close to two hours of limited time. The second day went badly too. After two stops in the heat, I wanted to return to the hotel to rest, then go out later for one more activity. The driver said that wasn’t a good use of his time and insisted I continue right away so he could finish early. I’d paid for eight hours and used only about three, so I asked to go back to the hotel. The day felt wasted. I had booked the penthouse expecting a higher standard than the rest of the hotel, but the walls had noticeable water damage. Hot water was unreliable throughout my stay. Maintenance came several times on the first day, but it turned cold after only 30 to 60 seconds. The next day it improved to about five minutes before needing around ten minutes to reheat. The manager suggested collecting that hot water in a bucket and pouring it over myself with a cup, which was extremely inconvenient for a penthouse stay.
