Treebo Pink City Grand

The room and walkway had a horrible smell, like they hadn't been cleaned for ages and someone had just used a strong, unpleasant spray. The washroom also smelled bad, and its fittings were broken and rusty. There was no water until 1:00 am, which was extremely inconvenient, and just two staff members seemed to be running the whole property. I booked through Booking.com because I assumed a Treebo affiliated hotel would be decent. That was a big mistake. The place is badly maintained and doesn't meet basic hospitality standards. I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel is down a gali with no parking for a four wheeler, and there was no ventilation in the room, hallway, or hotel. The hallway was dirty and smelled, and the room, bathroom, bedsheet, and lift were stinky when we checked in, before the room was even ready. There was a strong paan or vimal spit stain in a room, and it still hadn't been cleaned. The card holder was broken, and when we reported it, they just put tape on it. Breakfast was cold, seemed unhygienic, and had very few choices. My son got food poisoning from the hotel food and vomited on the blanket. When we asked for a clean one, staff charged 800 rupees. Staff were also rude and angry with many guests. PLEASE NEVER EVER GO TO TREEBO HOTEL FOR YOUR TRIP.

I checked in late and found the room wasn't ready. The bedsheets and pillow covers were dirty, and the breakfast was cold with very few options. For the price they charged, it wasn't worth staying. There are other hotels that offer better value.

The breakfast was ordinary and the service was good, but the rooms were really noisy and the washroom wasn't good. Cabs and autos were available, though nobody wanted to go to any tourist places. Someone on the floor was smoking and chewing tobacco.
