Hotel Jaisal House

The terrace sunset and traditional meal in the courtyard both felt wonderfully regal. Jaisal House is in a beautifully restored haveli, with intricate interiors and warm, personal hospitality. It combines Rajasthani heritage with modern comfort, and the whole place has a luxurious feel. A great choice for anyone looking for a culturally rich stay in Rajasthan.

We paid 5000 RS per room per night and got what felt like one-star service. I wouldn't recommend staying here after what happened. We booked a Royal Luxury room for two nights, but the manager gave us a deluxe room instead. We caught the mistake and, after asking several times, they admitted it was deluxe and promised to move us the next day. Even that room had no toiletries, towels, dustbin, or bathroom mat. There was rarely anyone at the front desk, so we had to search for someone whenever we needed something. Breakfast was badly managed too. At 8.45 AM there were no dishes, tea or coffee, or Puri, and the Bhaji was cold. No waiter was around, so we went to the kitchen ourselves to ask them to arrange it. They said we were late. The owner didn't seem to make the staff responsible, and when I asked for a price reduction because of all the trouble, they argued with us badly. Better service might have been available at a temple dharamshala. I'm a pediatrician and have never written a review this bad before, but I wanted other tourists to make an informed decision. The management and arrangements weren't proper, and this was a terrible stay.

Almost nothing worked for us here. The rooms and ambience were average, the staff behaved poorly, the walls were damaged, and there’s no lift. The location was the only positive, though even that felt scary given the rest of the place. It felt more like a cheap OYO, and the whole hotel was unsettling. The main problem was food: they only served breakfast and wouldn't provide lunch or dinner even when asked. It also seemed like the hotel was being taken over, which showed in the staff's behaviour.

The staff were friendly, cooperative, and quick with service, and the food was excellent. The rooms are quite large, with high-quality items, and the amenities looked even better than the website pictures. The location is peaceful and has plenty of parking. The owner is humble and personally takes care of guests' needs, including helping with places to visit. Highly recommended.
