The Jewel Chowk area is lovely, and the people there are good and very helpful. If I come to Jammu again, I’d sleep in the streets of Jewel Chowk rather than stay in this hotel. There’s no parking, and my vehicle didn’t feel safe there. In the morning, after packing my luggage, I found my bike covered in drops of white paint. I told the manager, who was sleeping and didn’t even look at what had happened. He said it wasn’t his fault and blamed a rat or bird, then went back to sleep. Later, I found out the paint was his and that he’d left it on the edge of a balcony like a fool. The footpath was ruined by it too. It doesn’t matter how many facilities you provide if you have some of the worst staff in the universe. The hotel and its staff or manager were the exception to what’s otherwise a nice, helpful area.

This place wasn’t worth the money. The rooms were untidy, and the linens and towels were dirty and smelly. Water leaked from the AC into the room, and the caretaker switched it off at the mains during the night. Not a comfortable stay.

The bedsheets were much too dirty. In my room, there was a window right beside the manager’s counter where he sat, covered only by a curtain. That left me feeling like there was no privacy at all, though that issue was with just the one room.

I stayed here for one night. At night, the police raided the hotel and found many unmarried couples enjoying themselves. Power problems are common in this area, the rooms aren’t very clean, and service is poor.

Absolutely the worst. They just fool people, and the hospitality was so bad I won’t even think of going back in my life. OYO should block hotels like this. Regards.
