Empire Resort by OYO Rooms

Nice rooms, a swimming pool, and very good service. A good place for a marriage party.

Really nice for parties and functions.

For our anniversary party, the leadership staff were rude and very unprofessional. They insisted on full payment before the event, which I have never encountered elsewhere. Other places take a deposit and settle the balance afterward. They'd promised at least a couple of rooms for out-of-town guests arriving early in the morning, then backed out and made them available much later. The rooms also took a long time to clean, and a couple smelled bad, so we had to ask for them to be cleaned again. Food service was very slow and poorly timed through the party. Most of it was cold, even after we asked them to keep it warm. They were going to serve even soup in foam cutlery, so we insisted on better cutlery and were charged a lot for it. Very hard to believe. I won't host another event here.

The resort itself is nicely built, but the washroom and seating arrangements weren't good. I visited for a wedding recently. Since it's near the highway, I'd recommend going by car. The highway is under construction, so the route is dusty and rocky and difficult to travel. Parking is currently available right on the highway, but once the highway is open, the resort may have parking problems.
