The food was average, and the service could use some work, but overall I had a nice experience. The guest house felt cozy and homely, and the staff were accommodating. It's budget friendly and sits in a peaceful area with little traffic noise. The main road is within walking distance, with cabs and autos easy to find. It's also near the railway station, market, and some tourist attractions, which is handy.

The owner, Niranjan, was always ready to help, and the tea was very good. We booked one night through Oyo, then wanted to stay for two more days after our trip to Jaisalmer. He offered us decent prices directly. They also let us store our luggage in a luggage room while we went to Jaisalmer and back. The rooms were neat and spacious, with all the amenities we needed. The location worked well too, within walking distance of the market and well connected by public transport.

The surroundings were neat and clean, and I liked the old Rajputana heritage vibe. It still felt homely, while giving enough privacy.

The bathroom was clean and soap was missing, but that was only okay. The towels were dirty, with blood stains and lipstick marks, and the pillow covers were dirty too. The blanket provided was too short, so they gave us another one, just a piece of cloth, and it also had a blood stain.
