Whenever I come to Jodhpur, Shanti Bhawan is my first choice. It's close to the railway station, the staff are cooperative, and the service has impressed me. The rooms are clean, especially the washroom, and the rates are reasonable. Thanks, Shanti Bhawan, for making me comfortable.

The morning staff were extremely rude. I was also charged for breakfast after being promised it would be available at 7:30 am. At reception in the morning, I was told it had to be ordered and wouldn't start until 8, so my train schedule meant I missed it despite paying. Traffic noise came through all night because there was no soundproofing, and I couldn't sleep.

It's an old Haveli, which gives the hotel a lot of charm, and the location is ideal if you need to be near the train station. If noise bothers you, ask for a room that doesn't face the street.

Mr Ravindra was helpful and attentive. The building looks good and the room was nice. The bed made a little noise, but it was very comfortable.

The room was poorly lit, and both the bed and toiletries were dirty. The bathroom door latch didn't work either. The amenities were badly managed, and it wasn't a good experience.
