The basics are simple, but everything was good quality and worked properly. My room was spacious, with a large bed, decent bed linen, and plenty of ventilation through big windows. I liked that the common areas didn't feel like sealed, claustrophobic galleries. As a solo woman traveller, I felt comfortable, especially with practically all women staff. The staff were very responsive, and their manner was good. The food was a highlight for me, from the Indian and Continental breakfast spread to the restaurant meals, which tasted homemade and weren't too oily or spicy. Five star hygiene and service quality in a three star hotel, with a complete value for money stay.

The bathroom has a fan that dries things quickly, which helps since the bath area isn't separated from the toilet and the room gets wet after a shower. Rooms are air conditioned and reasonably spacious, with basics like a fridge and a tea and coffee maker, plus some biscuits and snacks. It's near central Jorhat, a few meters down a lane from TR Phukon Road, and there are several restaurants within 500 meters. The hotel also has a restaurant and coffee shop, and live music in the evening. The food is fine and service is good, though parking is very limited. A good option for a couple of nights.

Breakfast could be better, particularly the tea and coffee service. The hotel is tucked into a colony where construction is going on all around, so there aren't any views. Still, it was a surprising find, very well designed and fitted, and everything met my high expectations. Recommended.

The team made a great impression, everyone was polite, helpful, and professional. My stay at Annex Gulmohar Grand was excellent, with fantastic, spacious, comfortable rooms. I also really appreciated how spotless and well maintained everything was.

We stayed in the annex, about 200m from the main building and restaurant, and they arranged cab rides to pick us up and take us back after meals. The property is centrally located, within a comfortable distance of other hotspots. Our room was clean, the whole place impeccably maintained, and the service staff were kind and ready to help. The food was very tasty. We had a comfortable stay at Gulmohar Grand Annex and would highly recommend it.
