Check-in and checkout were quick and easy, and the staff were always friendly and ready to help. My room was comfortable and clean, with housekeeping keeping things in order each day.

The rooms were clean and well maintained, with fresh linen, and felt comfortable. Staff took good care of us and responded to what we needed. The receptionist was particularly helpful and friendly. A well kept hotel, and a place I'd recommend.

We spent a lot to stay at Ira hotel, but the rooms were dirty and unpleasant, with cockroaches and mosquitoes. The housekeeping lady asked us directly for a tip, while the reception boy responded rudely and kept saying he didn't know when we asked questions. It was very difficult to communicate because staff didn't know languages we could use. The room wasn't nice, and the service was poor. I don't understand why management runs things this way. Please hire educated people. This was a bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend visiting.

The only things going for this place were its location and rooms, though even the rooms were very small. It felt like an overpriced lodge with no kitchen, and the advertising gave a misleading impression. The staff were lazy and unresponsive, and I wouldn't suggest it to families expecting a regular hotel stay. Several basics failed during our stay: the A/C barely worked, there was no hot water in any room, and Wi-Fi was often down. Staff didn't seem to care when we complained. With no kitchen, we had to beg for breakfast; they brought packed food from a local street vendor to a common seating area that only fits three people. No water was provided with breakfast, and it cost extra. After checkout, the owner demanded Rs 200 per person to use the lobby bathroom, without consideration for women guests. The explanation was that after checkout we were no longer guests, so we'd be charged to pee. That was awful and discourteous. I don't know how this person is in hospitality.
