The food and lively atmosphere made for a memorable meal, and I’m looking forward to visiting The Square again. The buffet had plenty of choice, from local Kerala dishes to international flavors, and everything was outstanding. The dessert spread was a highlight, with creative treats from Ashwathy, the Pastry Incharge. Sushil, the Kitchen Incharge, showed real care for quality and detail, and every dish was prepared with flavor and precision. Gayathri, the GSA, welcomed us warmly and looked after us throughout. The restaurant itself felt warm and inviting, just right for a relaxed but elegant meal, and the staff were courteous and attentive all evening. I particularly enjoyed the [mention any dish you loved—like seafood, dessert, or a specific main course]—it was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.

We spent two nights here in December 2025. The location is good, very close to Kochi Infopark and Smart City. I found the reception staff neither friendly nor welcoming. They also charged the wrong room rent because they applied different GST rates. The review cuts off while describing the charge for one night.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed four nights, and the place felt filthy and poorly managed, with too few staff in several areas despite presenting itself as a five-star property. In my opinion, it wasn’t even worth two stars. The carpets were dirty and looked as though they’d never been steam cleaned or replaced. Breakfast was ordinary, and staff forgot items we had ordered. Room service was inconsistent, and cleaners needed repeated reminders, even for basics like replacing hand towels, water glasses, and bottles. There seemed to be a serious staffing shortage, inadequate training, or both. In our accessible room, the toilet roll was attached to the support handle and fell off whenever the handle was raised. The sink drained very slowly and wasn’t fixed after I complained. The air conditioning wouldn’t hold the set temperature, and three technicians were unable to fix it.

Anamika from the hotel staff was especially helpful and polite. Her professional manner made our stay smooth and comfortable, and I really appreciated her support. The staff overall were very helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the location gave us easy access to nearby attractions. A wonderful, relaxing stay, highly recommended.
