The owner was polite and easy to approach, and the rooms were quite small compared with the booking pictures. This seems more suited to locals or groups who want to stay and drink. I wouldn’t recommend it to tourists or couples.

The stay itself had a long list of problems: the place wasn’t clean, it didn’t feel suitable for families, and the host or person in charge was rude. There was no water heater, no TV connection, and no ironing facility. After 11pm, the AC and power sockets were switched off. We only got a room after Kerala police came to the property and made them accommodate us. My wife and I had booked and paid in full through agoda for 7 nights, confirmed with oyo before travelling, and told them we’d arrive late. Still, the in-charge refused to honor the booked price and said rooms went to whoever came first. We filed a complaint with Kerala police that evening. Thanks to them for helping us get in. Book at your own risk.

I was comfortable in the room and the service was good. Food shopping nearby wasn’t convenient for me, since there weren’t options to buy food items, though online delivery was available.

The room felt cramped when we saw it, nothing like the spacious one in the picture. We cancelled right away and left the property. A really bad experience.
