Hotel Mountain Breeze

We found the resort convenient for sightseeing, with most points around 20 minutes away and a central location. The valley view looks out toward Lingmala Falls and gives the place a peaceful feel. Our clean, spacious, well-kept room even had a bathtub, which was a nice bonus. Staff were very polite and ready to help, and breakfast was decent, satisfying, and had enough variety. A comfortable stay with great views and excellent service, recommended for families and couples visiting Mahabaleshwar.

We spent 3 days here with my wife. The valley view is excellent, and the quiet setting and strong, steady room WiFi made it a good place to work remotely. Room service and daily cleaning were good, there’s a nice book collection at reception, and the generator came on quickly whenever the power went out. The stay was badly affected by a serious food and hygiene concern. We ate all our meals at the hotel restaurant for 3 days, and both my wife and I had severe vomiting and loose motions. I can’t say if it was the food quality or contaminated water, but we both got sick. The bedsheet wasn’t changed daily and seemed to be put back after a basic dusting, and the mattress wasn’t very comfortable. It has a beautiful location and could work for a workation, but food safety and hygiene need serious improvement.

We stayed in February and really enjoyed it. The mountain view across the valley from our room and balcony, and from the ground-floor lawn, was amazing. The hotel is close to the main road but still quiet and tucked away, a real sukun, or peaceful life 😍. There’s a small, clean pool, enough parking, and a play area on the second floor with two carrom boards, chess, and table tennis, though the rackets were worn out. Wi-Fi and TV are available. The ground-floor rooms open straight onto the garden, and a viewpoint about 100 meters away looks over Lingmala waterfall and the valley. Mahabaleshwar Temple and Panchganga (Rivers Temple) are about a 6 km drive away. Breakfast is a pure veg buffet, with vegetarian meals available too. The variety felt sufficient for the price: real juice, two cut fruits, toast, butter, jam, and items like idli, wada, paratha, and upma on day one, then poha, puri bhaji, dosa, and sabudana on day two, plus tea and coffee. We had lunch or dinner at the hotel one day, and the dal khichadi was really yummy. The kitchen staff were cooperative and followed our instructions. Staff were cordial, helpful, and prompt, and the rooms were clean. They gave me an extra towel for my child at no charge. We had a good stay and would like to return. Thanks 🙏

We tried breakfast and a few Punjabi dishes, and all of it was tasty and satisfying. The rooms were roomy, clean, and well kept, with a comfortable layout. Staff were friendly and polite, and requests were handled quickly and with care. The views were another highlight, beautiful at sunrise or sunset and memorable throughout our stay.
