A warm, cozy place. Check out the rooms and facilities, too. I love this place.

The bed was firm, and there was hot water, though no shower. Breakfast was tasty and cost extra. There are four dogs on the property. The welcoming manager speaks English, and the colonial building feels like a little time warp. It's just outside town, about 10 minutes from the taxi/bus stand.

The family running the place are very hospitable, and the rooms are clean. Upper rooms have a much better view. Though quite near the city center, it's very quiet. There's not much staff, so food choices and housekeeping services are limited. Still, it's good value for small families, couples, and backpackers.

Deki has a homely feel, and it's quite close to the bus stand while still being peaceful. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, and the rooms were clean and fairly furnished. I'll definitely stay there again on our next visit.

Deki Lodge is right in central Kalimpong, near the market and taxi stand. The manager is very familiar and welcoming, the food is good, and the upper room has an awesome view. My room and bathroom were clean, and it felt like home. A little costlier, but okay. If you want a home stay in Kalimpong, you can visit here.
