Delo Lake Homestay

The room and location are excellent, and it feels like staying in your own home. The food is home style, too. Paragliding and the park are nearby. If the weather is clear, you can go to the park early in the morning and see the kanchanjangha mountain.

The owners are very friendly, the rooms are clean and neat, and the food is very good. Near Delo Lake, the homestay has a majestic view of the Darjeeling and Kalimpong mountains. A good place for a night or two with family or friends.

We'd never stayed in a homestay before, and this was amazing, beyond what we expected. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the food was good, and the price was reasonable. Surajji and his wife Bindudidi were helpful and polite, and made us feel at home. A perfect place to spend some peaceful, quality time.

Suraj Rumtel Vai and his whole family were so nice and helpful. My daughter still misses them. The food was healthy, tasty, and organic, and I felt just like I was in my own house. It's a truly peaceful and beautiful place.
