Green Gates

The pool was well looked after, the food was consistently delicious, and the staff were warm and friendly. Even though the resort is just off the main road, the grounds are quiet and calm, with lots of trees and lush greenery. It feels like a peaceful retreat from the busy surroundings. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night, and the room itself was good and warm, but the place was not worth the money. The floor and balcony were dirty, and the balcony felt unhygienic. The pool was also dirty, with sand and dirt on the floor and broken tiles, and it clearly wasn’t maintained well. Monkeys were moving around so much that we stayed inside and couldn’t sit on the balcony even for a few minutes. Staff seemed undertrained. It took over 30 minutes to get a callback about the Wi-Fi password, and no one answered when we called the restaurant for room service. The restaurant and main kitchen were closed when we wanted to eat. A staff member said the chef had gone home due to an emergency, but the response wasn’t appropriate. The property needs substantial maintenance and better-trained staff to improve the service.

There was no water or food, and guests had no basic arrangements. The sheets and blankets were unclean and unfit to use. Service was completely unprofessional, and the facilities were in a deplorable state. The hotel manager was unhelpful and acted unprofessionally, making an already distressing stay worse. It was a total waste of money, not even worth ₹500 compared with what I paid.

There were hardly any staff available to help with basics like water and towels, so the service was very poor. The owner said a bonfire would be arranged, and that promise was part of why we booked for three days. After check-in, we followed up repeatedly, but they never provided it.
